Amber Heard reportedly had ‘no visible injuries’ following an ‘incident,’ a police officer has claimed during Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against her.
The Aquaman star’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, questioned Los Angeles cop, Melissa Saenz, in a pre-recorded deposition about an alleged call to the couple’s penthouse apartment in May 2016.
At the time, Heard reportedly claimed that Depp ‘struck her with a phone’.

When the attorney asked the officer whether she could see any visible bruises on the actress that backed up her allegations against her ex-husband, Saenz said: “No I do not.”
Bredehoft went on to ask: “What is your perception of the redness on the cheek and the eyelid and above the eyebrow?”
Saenz replied: “It’s consistent with her crying – she’s fair skin, her face is flushed.”
Heard’s lawyer continued with her interrogation, questioning: “You don’t think it’s consistent with a cell phone being thrown at her?”
In response, the cop said: “It does not look like an injury caused from a cell phone. It’s consistent with someone crying.”

“If you saw any signs of injury on Amber Heard or even just damage to the property, would you have been duty-bound to make a report?” asked Bredehoft.
Saenz agreed, simply saying: “Correct.”
The officer went on to say that she couldn’t see any evidence of damage in the couple’s penthouse to support Heard’s allegations.
The lawyer questioned: “Now, your recollection is that there was damage to the flat, you searched the entire flat and there was no damage, no broken glass, or anything out of the ordinary, would you agree?”
Saenz replied: “Correct.”
