Cardi B and Offset have been slammed over their second child’s unusual name.

The celebrity couple both took to Instagram on April 14 and announced that their son, who they welcomed into the world last September, has an ocean-themed name.

He is called Wave Set Cephus.

Watch Cardi B claim her son was talking at just four months old…

The rapping duo’s fans have taken to social media and shared their thoughts on the couple’s choice of name.

One tweeted: “Someone gotta do something to stop parents from doing this. How the f*** [is] this kid not gonna get bullied for being named ‘Wave’?”

In agreement, a second said: “Lol, why do celebrities always gotta name their kids some extra s***?”

“Just read his name out loud and my table floating right,” a third joked.

Others have taken to social media and defended the couple’s choice of name.

One penned: “I feel like naming a kid a unique name is way better than 100 Harrys, Johns and Toms. It’s 2022, I feel like unless you name your kid something abnormally weird it’s fine.”

When Cardi B and Offset’s son was born on September 6 of last year, they were interviewed by People magazine shortly afterwards.

They told the publication: “We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son.

“He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

The couple also shares a three-year-old daughter, Kulture – who also has Cephus in her name.

Offset has three other children from previous relationships, including seven-year-olds called Kalea and Kody, and 12-year-old Jordan.
