Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed the future of Clarkson’s Farm following reports that it had been axed by Amazon.

The second season of the TV series – which follows the former Top Gear host as he tries his hand at farming – has been a huge success for the streaming service since dropping on February 10.

The first series left fans eagerly anticipating the second series, and now the latest instalment has fans clamouring for a third adventure.

Well Clarkson himself has addressed the future of Clarkson’s Farm.

Variety had previously reported that Clarkson and his TV shows – Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour – are likely to be cancelled once his confirmed projects have been filmed.

The outlet states that his partnership with Amazon will come to an end after a third season of Clarkson’s Farm and four Grand Tour specials – all of which are expected to come out in 2024.

This was due to his comments about Meghan Markle, where expressed his ‘hate’ for her following her and Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary.

In his column for The Sun, he wrote: “I hate her. Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level.

“At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”

He has since publicly apologised for his remarks and claimed that he has said sorry to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

While Amazon is yet to officially make a statement on Clarkson’s future, The Grand Tour host has confirmed that a third season of Clarkson’s Farm is definitely happening.

On February 11, Clarkson posted a tweet that encouraged his followers to watch the new series of the show.

He wrote: “Do please watch Clarkson’s Farm 2 this weekend on Amazon. People seem to be loving it. And the soundtrack is amazing.”

One fan commented on his tweet: “I loved it watched it on Saturday that just passed, loved the show can’t wait for a season 3 if there is one.”

This prompted the former Top Gear host to simply respond: “There is one.”

Fans took to the comment section to share their delight at the news.

One viewer says: “Hurrah! That’s great news. Am loving series 2 and all you do to highlight how tough farming is.”

“Finished the second season this morning and loved every minute. Can’t wait for season 3,” expresses a second.

“I was never appreciative of or properly thankful for the work and sacrifice that goes into my daily bread. I am now. Thank you.”

“Bloody fantastic, we absolutely love it,” expresses a fourth.

Seasons one and two of Clarkson’s Farm are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
