Elliot Page has shared a shirtless photo to celebrate ‘the joy I feel in my body’.
The Umbrella Academy star, 36, has starred in huge films such as Inception and Juno – for which he earned an Oscar nomination.
Page came out as a trans man in 2020 and he has now undergone top surgery to remove the breast tissue from his body.
He has now posted a topless photo of his transformation.

In his latest Instagram post, the Whip It actor opens up to fans about his battle with confidence.
Posing shirtless, he pens: “Dysphoria used to be especially rife in the summer.
“No layers, just a T-shirt – or layers and oh so sweaty – constantly looking down, readjusting my oversized T.
“It feels so f’ing good soaking in the sun now, I never thought I could experience this, the joy I feel in my body.
“I am so grateful for what gender-affirming care has allowed me and I look forward to sharing more of my journey soon.”

The heartfelt post has since garnered more than 960,000 likes and fans of Page have taken to the comments to share their happiness for him – while also sharing their own stories.
One person writes: “So grateful to witness this new and free expression of you!”
A second fan comments: “You inspire me as a non-binary person who struggles with that same uncomfortably during the summer.
“Trying to find clothes that don’t make you dysphoric but also not too hot since wearing a big shirt in the summer regardless of if you’re in the water is uncomfortable.”
“This makes me so f***ing happy to see you, you look so handsome,” adds a third.

“Elliot you are an absolute inspiration to me,” gushes another person.
A fifth fan pens: “So happy for you and the light you are spreading.
“Everyone deserves joy and to live as their authentic self and to feel at home in their body. Congrats.”

The Smart People actor has a memoir coming out on June 6 titled ‘Pageboy’.
It will give fans an insight into Page’s journey as a transgender person as well as his day-to-day experiences.
Flatiron Books is the publisher of the memoir and it has said that it will shine a light on his ‘relationship with his body, his experiences as one of the most famous trans people in the world’.
It will also ‘cover mental health, assault, love, relationships, s** and the cesspool that Hollywood can be’.
