In a recent interview with People magazine, Ramsay spoke out about the grief his whole family went through when Tana suffered a miscarriage five months into her pregnancy back in 2016.

“Losing Rocky was really tough, and then just being there and watching the trauma unfold, it’s just this life-changing moment…” he said.

Ramsay explained that he and Tana honoured their son Rocky by naming their home in Cornwall after him.

The family also own pieces of jewellery engraved with his name.

Earlier this year, Tana marked seven years since she had lost Rocky with an emotional Instagram post.

She shared a snap of Holly’s tattoo that she had gotten in honour of her late brother, as well as an image of the family days before the devastating loss.

The 49-year-old penned: “‘A happy picture taken of us celebrating [daughter] Megan’s 18th, I was just under 20 weeks pregnant.

“Little did we know, a few days later I would be holding our little boy Rocky – born with a strong heartbeat, but too little to survive.

“Although it’s seven years today, it still feels like yesterday. We all miss you every day. We love you Rocky, forever in our hearts. I couldn’t do this without my family, you are all everything to me.”

Previously, Ramsay said in an interview with Weekend magazine that he had been overwhelmed by the support he and his family had received following the tragic loss.

“The support we’ve had has been unbelievable. You don’t realise until it happens to you how many people are affected. Sadly it happens every day,” he commented (via MailOnline).

Tana told Metro that during this difficult time, ‘Gordon was amazing’ as no one else ‘would talk to her about it’.

“He’s always been one to talk about everything, and he was very good at sort of talking it out of me and never making me feel that, ‘Oh, you know, maybe we shouldn’t talk about it’,” she told the outlet.

Following the tragic loss of Rocky, Ramsay and Tana have welcomed two more children into the family – Oscar in April 2019 and Jesse James in November 2023.

The chef uploaded three images of Jesse, the newest addition to the family, on November 11.
