Jane Fonda claims that Jennifer Lopez ‘never apologised’ for cutting her face.
Fonda, 85, and Lopez, 53, starred together in the 2005 romantic comedy Monster-In-Law.
The film follows Lopez’s character, Charlie, as she tries to impress her fiancé’s mother – who wants to be the only woman in his life.
Despite the movie being 18 years old, Fonda says she still hasn’t received an apology for Lopez cutting her face during filming.

In one memorable scene, Charlie and Fonda’s character, Viola, are arguing on Charlie’s wedding day
Viola, unforgettably, wears white on the day to upset the bride and steal her thunder.
This prompts Charlie to retaliate by slapping her soon-to-be mother-in-law before apologising.
“You don’t go and slap somebody and then apologise, get some backbone,” Viola snaps back as the two engage in a slapping match.

While in the film Lopez is quick to apologise, according to Fonda she is yet to do so in real life.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Fonda reveals that during the slap scene, Lopez apparently left a cut on the actress’ eyebrow.
The Book Club actress recalls: “Well Jennifer – as per Jennifer – she had this enormous diamond ring and so when she slapped me one of the times, it cut open across my eye, my eyebrow.
“You know, she’s never apologised.”
After saying this, the audience gasps for a second before going silent.
Barrymore and Fonda’s Moving On co-star Lily Tomlin, who is sitting next to her, is also silent – while the host pauses before moving on to her next question.
It is unclear if the Oscar-winning actress us joking or if she’s being serious.
Lopez herself has addressed the scene in the past on her YouTube channel, describing that moment as daunting to film and stating she was ‘so afraid to hit Jane Fonda in the face or hurt her in any way’.
The ‘On The Floor’ singer says she was ‘afraid’ of Fonda but called her very brave.
She also says that the Barbarella star encouraged Lopez to hit her.

The romantic comedy was Fonda’s return to the big screen after taking a 15-year break from acting.
In a 2015 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert the legendary actress shared that she thought she could find ‘joy’ in acting again and so she returned with Monster-in-Law.
She calls the opportunity the ‘only smart career thing I ever did’.
While the film received mixed reviews – with many praising Fonda’s performance – it was a success at the box office since it grossed $154 million on a budget of $43 million.
