Amber Heard has said she never thought Johnny Depp would claim to be a ‘domestic abuse victim’.
The actress was being questioned by her ex-husband’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, when she made the comment.
She was asked by the attorney: “You didn’t think he would tell the world he was a victim of domestic violence, did you?”

Heard responded: “I found it hard to believe that he could or that he would do that, considering the relationship he and I had. I thought it would be crazy for him to do so.”
The question came up during the cross-examination as, earlier on in the trial, Depp had made the shocking claim he was a ‘victim of domestic abuse’.
He made the allegation when questioned by Vasquez, who asked: “What did you say in response when Ms Heard said, ‘Tell the world Johnny, tell them I Johnny Depp, a man, am a victim too of domestic violence?'”
At the time, the actor replied: “I said yes, I am.”

Elsewhere in the high-profile case, Heard finally addressed the ‘poop incident’ and denied that she was responsible for it.
Referencing the ‘horrible practical joke gone wrong’ claims, the actress stated: “First of all, I don’t think that’s funny. I was not, also, in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart.
“I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my violent husband, with whom I was desperately in love and knew I needed to leave.
“It was not really a jovial time, and I don’t think that’s funny, period.”
The Aquaman star then went on to add: “That’s disgusting.”
