The former Miss Ukraine has joined the war against Russia and reportedly warned that ‘invaders will die’.
Anastasia Lenna, who represented her country in the 2015 Miss Grand International beauty contest, took to Instagram on February 22 and posted a photo of herself holding a weapon while wearing safety glasses and earplugs.
She captioned the post: “22.02.2022. #standwithukraine #handsoffukraine.”

According to Sky News, the beauty queen shared another message on her Instagram stories, which read: “Anyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed.”
Thousands have taken to the comments and praised Lenna for standing with Ukraine.
One follower said: “Go @anastasiia.lenna, show them what you got. Stay safe and take care always.”
Alongside a bunch of clapping hand emojis, another added: “Bravo!”
“We stand with Ukraine!” a third commented.
The 24-year-old has reportedly shared numerous messages on her social media page, in which she discusses the fight.
In particular, one said: “Our army is fighting in such a way that NATO should apply for entry into Ukraine.”
It comes as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his country ‘has been left alone to fight’.
The 44-year-old made a video address on February 25, claiming at that point over 137 people had lost their lives on the first day of attacks and ‘peaceful cities’ were being destroyed.
He said: “They are killing people and turning peaceful cities into military targets. It’s foul and will never be forgiven.”
Appealing to Western allies, Zelensky continued: “Who is ready to fight alongside us? I don’t see anyone. Who is ready to give Ukraine a guarantee of Nato membership? Everyone is afraid.”
