A woman was left outraged after she ‘spent $125 on a dog tribute tattoo that went terribly wrong’.
The TikToker, who is known only as Chey, has gone viral after sharing a clip of the inking she wanted, and what she actually ended up with.
She captioned the post: “Worst $125 I’ve ever spent.”
Woman Says ‘Upside Down Pineapple’ Tattoo Was Big ‘Mistake’ After Learning Its True Meaning
In the clip, Chey showed her followers the inspiration photo she supposedly shared with the artist, which was a dog’s paw with the animal’s snout in the centre.
However, she ended up with a contorted and squished paw, with the snout not being perfectly aligned.
Unlike the inspiration tattoo, the TikToker opted for yellow and pink inking – but it didn’t quite manage to save it.
Fortunately, Chey managed to laugh the incident off and branded it ‘comedy gold,’ saying: “It looked completely opposite to the stencil.”

Since being shared on the social media platform, the post has garnered hundreds of comments, with viewers being divided over the end result.
Defending the inking, one said: “I think it’s cute that way, not as basic.”
In agreement, another added: “I like the one you got.”
“The detail and colour is amazing but this was NOT what you were going for. I get where you’re coming from I’ve had the same thing happen…,” a third wrote.
However, the majority of TikTokers slammed the tattoo and said they would have been furious if it was them in that situation.
One pointed out: “These are two completely different concepts.”
“Not even close,” a second remarked.
Pitching in, another commented: “I would be so f***ing p***ed.”
