A woman was told that her back tattoo of a ‘guardian angel’ looked rude and then she couldn’t unsee it.

Getting a tattoo is always a huge decision to make as this piece of ink is likely to be a permanent feature of your body.

Usually, you will put a lot of time and thought into what you are getting inked to save yourself from having something you regret.

And while one particular woman thought her tattoo was completely innocent, people online have pointed out that it looked rather rude and it changed how she viewed it.

In a now-deleted TikTok post, a woman named Bekah Milly showed off a tattoo in the middle of her upper back – which was supposed to be her ‘guardian angel’.

In the post, she explained that the design intended to show her hugging her guardian angels.

However, once she started sharing her tattoo with people, she revealed that people said it resembled something else.

The post went viral with over six million views before seemingly being deleted – people still reacted to the post, with many unable to unsee the innuendo.

“Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Lol,” commented one person.

Someone else agreed, writing: “Can’t unsee it now. Just. Can’t.”

A third wrote: “Omg it’s awful, I don’t see any guardian angel. I can’t unsee this. As tattoos go it’s awful look at the hand! Obviously, the tattooist didn’t think to maybe tell her.”

Another person suggested: “You need to go get that touched up ASAP!!!!”

However, one person defended it by sharing: “I saw a hug until I read the text. People see what they want, just saying.”

Others also came forward to advise Milly on what could be done to fix her tattoo.

One person said: “Maybe she could get a tattooist to draw the guardian angel more featured in white or another colour to show.”

A tattoo artist wrote: “My suggestion would be to continue the outline of the head further to make the distinction that it’s a person.”

While a third recommended: “Just add the other shoulder and a bit more neck on the left and [it] won’t look like that anymore.”

Milly took the advice and managed to get the tattoo covered up – it now features more detail in the second person and a red rose at the centre.

She was delighted with the transformation – as were many people on TikTok who took to the comments and responded to her new tattoo.

One person said: “Omg this is GORGEOUS!!!!! And so much better. Obsessed.”

“I’m so glad TikTok brought me back to this tattoo and I got to see your happy ending,” added a second.

Someone else commented: “Nice! RIP salad tossing tat.”

Did you spot the rude innuendo from the tattoo?

Milly captioned the original post: “When someone says your new tattoo looks like a girl eating a**.”

Yikes.
