A bridesmaid has claimed that she was ‘uninvited from her friend’s wedding’ as the dress ‘looked too good’ on her.
TikToker Alena has gone viral after telling her followers that the bride-to-be decided she couldn’t go to the special day, despite being the one who choose the gown.
In the clip, she said: “My close friend uninvited me to her wedding because she thought I looked too good in the dress SHE chose for me.”

In the photo, Alena can be seen wearing a blue and tan low-cut gown which is embellished head-to-toe in sequins.
Since sharing her story, the woman’s post has accumulated over 5.2million views and many have taken to the comments and shared their thoughts.
Defending Alena, one viewer wrote: “SHE’S the one who chose the dress so she could’ve just asked you to change your dress instead of rudely uninviting you.”
In agreement, a second said: “As your friend, she should want you to look beautiful. If she was secure and confident, she wouldn’t feel intimidated at her own wedding. So sad.”
“I’d want always my friends to dress up like they’re going to the Met Gala or a red carpet,” a third commented.

However, some people defended the bride and said that they understood where she was coming from.
Defending the bride, one wrote: “Yeah, you look great in it… but I honestly understand your friend. I would respect it and pick another dress. It’s her day and it’s mean to outshine her.”
